Marriage Certificate

Legislative and regulatory references :

- Chapters 13 and 14 of Law No. 3 of 1957 dated on August 1, 1957 related to organizing the civil status as it was completed and revised with the subsequent texts.

- Prime Minister’s publication No. 15 dated on February 14, 1989 on simplifying procedures for civil status documents.

Conditions for having the service :

- Submit an oral request to the civil status officer

- Pay the cost of the service (cash or by postal order, in the name of the municipal clutch, accompanied by an envelope bearing the applicant's address if the application is written by mail.

The required documents :

 - Give instructions on marriage: date, number of registers

- Determine whether the file has been concluded

Filing placement :

- Civil Status service in the municipality or the municipal department

Placement for having the service :

- Civil Status service in the municipality or the municipal department

Immediately or within 24 hours of submitting the application

- Civil status register is given to the certificate owner, his ascendants, descendants, the guardian, the legal representative or the spouse if he is not separate from him or divorced.

- Copies of registers shall be delivered free of charge to the General Prosecutor or other administrative institutions.
