Signature Legalization

Legislative and regulatory references :  

    - Law No. 103 of 1994 dated on the 1st August 1994 related to the regulation of signature legalization and certification with conformity of the copies to the original, and it was also revised and completed by Law No. 19 of 1999 dated on the 1st March 1999.

   - Law No. 27 of 1993 dated on March 22, 1993 related to the National Identification Card as it was revised and completed by Law No. 18 of 1999 dated on the first of March, 1999.

   - Order No. 1968 of 1994 dated on September 26, 1994, fixing the list of official documents approved for the signature legalization.

   - Order No. 1969 of 1994 dated on September 26, 1994, fixing the tariff of the information extracted against signature legalization and certification with conformity of the copies to the original.

Chapter 378 of the Law of Real Rights 

   - Decision of the Minister of Interior dated December 16, 1995.

Conditions for having the service :

   That the document submitted to identify the signature:

   - Unethical and not disrupting for public order

   -  The document should be in Arabic or in a language generally used in the administration

   - The applicant must fulfill the legal conditions regarding the legal capacity to sign

   -  He must be holding an official document proving his identity (a national identification card or a valid passport)

   -  to come and sign by himself in front of the Aid (except for cases of signature deposited in the municipal books)

   - Pay the costs employed

The required documents :

   - The document to be identified

   - Official identification document (ID card, passport)

Filing placement :

   - The Municipality or the municipal department

   - Quick management

   - Industry Promotion Agency

   - Demobilization office of cars at the customs

   -The Delegation in non-municipal areas

   - The embassy or consulate for residents abroad

Placement for having the service :

   - The Municipality or the municipal department

   - Quick management

   - Demobilization office of cars at the customs

   -The Delegation in non-municipal areas

   - The embassy or consulate for residents abroad

Immediately

   - Illiterate people who are unable to sign books will be read to them with the presence of two witnesses of trust people accompanied by the ID card and the stipulation of that in the book.

   - The documents submitted by the state Authority and public institutions of an administrative nature are exempt from paying the required information.

   - Signature delegation of documents relating to the donation of human organs or the regression thereof is free of charge.
